Family Fun Day

On November 27th City Beach will be open and we hope all of our families will join us for a day of fun.  We are running a great special for everyone looking to save a little cash and make sure there family has a good time.  On the 27th you can purchse a day pass to rock climb and use our inflatables (we have three) an obstacle course, a 25 foot slide, and a massive jump house.  The cost will be $12.00 and the pass lasts until 5pm.  That is an awesome deal where you get to climb and bounce all for one price.  So we hope all of our families will come together and enjoy a winter’s day at THE BEACH!

Member Appreciation Night

We are holding our monthly membership appreciation night.  But, you dont have to be a member to participate.  Come on down and enjoy a fun night with climbing, food, and friendly people.  The night will be a black light/headlamp climb (which you must provide the headlamp).  We have all new routes up and we will be showing a fun Halloween Movie in 3-D no less!! We hope to see you out there!!

ABS Opener at City Beach

City Beach will be kicking off the new season of ABS on September 26th.  We are setting over 61 boulder problems for a classic red point comp.  We are also proud to feature the latest holds from the insane minds of the Chancellor bros over at So ILL.  We purchased their entire new line so expect to experience some of the freshest grips when you come to the comp.  Below is our format for the day:

Arrival/Registration-11:00am-12:30pm
Rules-12:30pm-12:45pm
Redpoint Comp-1:00pm-5:00pm

Dodgeball

City Beach is throwing our monthly Dodgeball tournament. Bring your best team of six, your short shorts, and long tube socks!  We will take anyone ready to put their “stuff” against some of our defending teams.  The games start at 6pm and can go till 9pm.  We will have discounts at the restaurant, and the gym…so come on down.

Member Appreciation Night

memberposterwebTo All Our Members:  We feel we are overdue for a fun get together.  This being the case the Rock Club is having a Member Appreciation Night on June 30th.  That’s right, Tuesday night we are going to have a party for our members and their friends.  The night will begin at 6:30pm with a friendly bouldering comp, we just want to give you guys new problems to climb and good pysche.  Next we will be serving barbeque and drinks while we watch the latest climbing vid on the big screen The Players.  This video shows Chris Sharma, Lisa Rands, Ethan Pringle and many amazing climbers pulling out the most thrilling ascents, and we will be showing it on our movie screen!  So to our members mark down June 30th, 6:30 pm as a time to be at the City Beach Rock Club to enjoy a fun night.  We encourage you to bring a friend and enjoy the night!

Summer Sessions Camp

City Beach is gearing up for Summer by announcing the dates and times of our Summer Sessions Camp. Our camps are perfect for parents who want to get their kids out of the house and into an active and adventurous environment.  Camp will run from June13th-August 22nd.  We will begin at 9:00 sharp and end at 4:30pm.  Sign your child up for one of our three sessions we have included both a half day program and a full day program.  Camp includes instruction, fun and games, our adventure course series, healthy snacks, and quality time spent interacting in a group.  If you are interested in signing up please email katrina@citybeach.com, we can send you the paperwork via email and you may fax it back to us.  Please sign up soon we do fill our roster rather quickly.

Book Bucks

City Beach would like to thank all of the schools, parents, and children who participated in Book Bucks this month.  This program is a great way to reward children for their efforts inside and outside of the classroom.  Although the program has officially ended we welcome anyone that received a City Beach coupon to come on back during Spring Break and enjoy a day on us.  Thank you again to all that participated!
