It’s time for another Member’s Night! The 29th of this month (the last Thursday) we will be hosting another Member Appreciation Night. That’s right. Bring a friend, come hungry, and leave happy. We will be opening our ropes course again, so find a partner to experience the elements with. The food will arrive around 7pm, and the party will be rockin’ until 10pm. If you stopped by during Spring Break, then you saw the crowds with their book bucks. I saw something on Friday that made me appreciate our community. Three of our members were in for their usual session, and having an odd number, they decided to each take turns belaying for the general public to ease some of the lines and please our guests. Nobody asked them to do this, they just knew it would be a nice thing to do. That is why I climb here, and that is why we throw a party every other month. We appreciate you guys! You are the best asset that our gym has, and it is because of you that our gym is growing. Thursday, April 29th.

Don’t forget Member Appreciation Night is Thursday, March 4th. We expect to see all of you out enjoying our get together. We want you all to remember the 80’s even if you weren’t alive they are kinda hard to forget. Think, really awful clothes, but amazing music that maybe wasn’t the most lyrically deep but you could dance to it. Come on out and dress up, all of our staff well be decked out in 80’s garb so you really have no excuse not to be.

Okay guys, I know we have been slacking but running a gym is hard work. We have added new wall problems, 30 new boulder problems, and now it is time for our Member Night. You know what that means, the food and drinks are on us…But, there is a catch we need you to dress up. Nothing fancy, but we have been hankering for something fun so the theme for this Member Night is the 80’s. That’s right, bust out the lycra, headbands, sweats, track suits, and tube socks and bring it back as fierce as possible. Now you may be shaking your heads, but don’t lie, you have those items hiding in your closet. We will have special prizes for everyone that attends the event dressed up for our raffle. Again the event is March 4th and it begins at 6:30….be there! Ohh, and you may bring a free guest, but they need to rock it like Kevin Bacon from Footloose

In case you hadn’t heard we have reinstalled all of our auto-belay units. Our latest units come from the genius minds of the Extreme Engineering Crew and they are fool-proof. These units have been contracted not only by every major theme park but the US Army too. This means these things can take a beating and keep on running smooth. The setters have also worked double time and stripped and reset all of our auto-belay walls, not to mention the boulder area so you should check out their new creations. Our member night information will be coming real soon at ya.

We are holding our monthly membership appreciation night. But, you dont have to be a member to participate. Come on down and enjoy a fun night with climbing, food, and friendly people. The night will be a black light/headlamp climb (which you must provide the headlamp). We have all new routes up and we will be showing a fun Halloween Movie in 3-D no less!! We hope to see you out there!!

To All Our Members: We feel we are overdue for a fun get together. This being the case the Rock Club is having a Member Appreciation Night on June 30th. That’s right, Tuesday night we are going to have a party for our members and their friends. The night will begin at 6:30pm with a friendly bouldering comp, we just want to give you guys new problems to climb and good pysche. Next we will be serving barbeque and drinks while we watch the latest climbing vid on the big screen The Players. This video shows Chris Sharma, Lisa Rands, Ethan Pringle and many amazing climbers pulling out the most thrilling ascents, and we will be showing it on our movie screen! So to our members mark down June 30th, 6:30 pm as a time to be at the City Beach Rock Club to enjoy a fun night. We encourage you to bring a friend and enjoy the night!
